This Weekend’s Hashtag Project: #WHPstoryportrait

Weekend Hashtag Project is a series featuring designated themes & hashtags chosen by Instagram’s Community Team. For a chance to be featured on the Instagram blog, follow @instagram and look for a photo announcing the weekend’s project every Friday.

It’s been a week of amazing stories on Instagram. Between the heartwarming tale of an Instagram-planned engagement, an Instagram shot from the tallest building and amazing stories of hope from all over the world for World Water Day, we’re feeling particularly inspired, and we hope you are, too. The goal of this week’s project, #WHPstoryportrait, is to both take a portrait and tell a story. Grab a good friend, meet up with an Instagram acquaintance for the first time or even strike up a conversation with a stranger, then take their photo and share their story through your image’s caption.

PROJECT RULES: Please only add the hashtag #WHPstoryportrait to photos taken over this weekend and only submit your own photographs to the project. Any image taken then tagged over the weekend is eligible to be featured right here Monday morning!
